AM I A phone junkie?

Yes I am a phone addict. But am I becoming a Junkie? Jumping from Facebook to WhatsApp, to YouTube, to everything internet on my phone.
The first thing I do when
I wake up from bed is to check my phone for messages or calls I could not pick
while in the “wonderland” and the phone is the last thing before I get to bed.
Obviously, there are some
serious ramifications to having a cell phone habit. But mine is some way, I think.
Yes in the discharge of
my duties as a journalist, I do accept that the phone plays a key role but do I
become a slave to my phone? Just thinking aloud.
I must admit that I drive
text or WhatsApp most of the time.
According to the US Centers for DiseaseControl and Prevention, mobile phone use is partially to blame for the
distracted driving that kills an estimated nine people each day and injures
more than 1,000.
The prevalence
of texting while driving has reached epidemic proportions. A 2010 study by the
Pew Research Center said nearly half of US adults admit reading or sending a
text message while driving.
Yes my phone addiction
led me to the establishment of my “Kofi TV” which has become the fastest growing
online and social media television. But I fear this my addiction is getting
serious.
